Although our wedding photoshoot was a few days back, even till now as I think back, I kind of miss it. How I wish we could spend more days taking photos like that … maybe only possible if we did it overseas.
Although a little tiring towards the end of the day, I actually enjoyed it alot and wish that it would never end. Our photographer, Ray, is really a great guy! Very humourous and always trying to cheer us up. Very patient with us when he taught us how to pose in front of his camera. Not forgetting his gentlemanly manners as he helped us to carry our things into his studio amidst the drizzling morning.
I am impressed by his eye for details. He noticed every single detail about us from head to toe and he was able to bring out the details of all my gowns e.g. the train, the layers, the slight mermaid-cut without me saying anything.
He is a funny guy, too … cracking jokes trying to liven up the atmosphere. eL must have been too tense that he ended up frequently with a crooked smile. While Ray tried to make him laugh, I ended up laughing with him with a gummy smile. So, it was either him looking good and with me gummy or me looking good and with him duh … So, Ray joked that he probably needed to replace his face … hee … eL was alittle frustrated initially and didn’t seem to understand how crooked his smile was until Ray showed us the digital photos on his camera. Fortunately, he had a way of making eL smile and he loosened up towards the end. As for me, he preferred my gummy smile and kept prompting me to keep it up.
Haven’t seen the photos yet but I hope that all our effort will pay off and the photos will turn out nice. I have no doubts about his skills though … he’s really very creative and able to capture the right moments and the right angles. I just hope that we had looked good enough for his photos.Â
A pity that we didn’t have much time left for our outdoor photoshoot. Nevertheless, I still miss those times …
