We went to the Marina Mandarin Wedding Show this afternoon to look at the wedding setups and favours given. Instead of the usual buffet at wedding shows, we got to sit at a table for 8 and had a 5-course lunch. Yummy!
The guest book provided is quite lovely with a white cushioned cover in the same theme as the 2 angbao boxes provided. Ray Ong will also be providing us a guest book with our photos on each page, so we’ll be having two! We are thinking of turning Ray Ong’s guestbook into a photo journal of our wedding night. That’ll be cool! Anyway, it’s just an idea, not sure how it’ll work out in our busy night. :)
Out of the wedding favours, we are considering the bears below (for hanging on the handphone) or their famous pineapple tarts. The pineapple tarts are not the kind you imagine to have during Chinese New Year. It’s quite thick and nicely wrapped up in a little gold paper bag before putting it in the box. Some people think that it’s more practical to get something to eat, as no one would bother to keep your wedding favours anyway. But the bears do look kinda cute! Which would you prefer? Or would you prefer the usual chocolate pralines? Do drop us your comment. :)
